FAME CDC realizes the importance of a child’s first six years of life and the differences that prevention and early intervention can make. We are devoted to setting a firm foundation for each child and to help each family apply what they have formed with us to the later years of their child.
The objective is to individualize our program services to meet each child and family’s unique characteristics, culture, home language, strengths, and needs as determined in consultation and screenings with the families. FAME CDC has systems in place ot conduct a cycle of screening, evaluation, planning and assessment to support individualization. We also encourage the staff to use a variety of strategies to get to know and plan for children, build partnerships with families, and assess children’s progress. We will continue to follow the Reggio Emilia philosophy and approach and build a strong foundation of environments, child initiated projects, and parent involvement. Readiness for kindergarten is prioritized developing social emotional outcomes and the whole child with the foundation of the child outcome’s eight domains by always using a comprehensive approach to early childhood development.
